Veeva Systems has moved deeper into agentic AI for life sciences with its acquisition of Copli, an agentic medical, legal, and regulatory solutions provider that is now available as Veeva Falcon MLR. The deal comes shortly after Veeva’s fiscal Q1 2027 earnings call, where management reported total quarterly revenue of $883 million and non-GAAP operating income of $395 million, while framing Falcon as a disruptive new layer of “agentic labor” across life sciences workflows. Copli’s core appeal appears tied to one of pharma’s most persistent bottlenecks: MLR review, where promotional, medical, and regulatory content must be checked before reaching doctors and patients. Veeva has said Falcon MLR could eventually eliminate 70% or more of manual MLR labor within five years, positioning Copli as a potentially strategic extension of Veeva’s broader industry cloud and AI roadmap.
