Carnival’s Record Booking Powerhouse — 2027 Is Already Half Sold!
Carnival Corporation reported strong financial and operational performance in the third quarter of 2026, achieving record revenues, yields, and net income, while also setting new highs in customer deposits. The company’s results surpassed guidance by $100 million, driven by higher-than-expected revenue growth and continued cost efficiencies. Yields increased nearly 2.5% year-over-year, outpacing previous estimates, supported by improving booking trends and strong customer demand that remained resilient despite global economic and geopolitical challenges. On the cost front, cruise costs excluding fuel were 1 point better than anticipated, aided by sustained efforts to operate more efficiently. Additionally, fuel consumption declined by about 3-4% year-over-year, mitigating the impact of higher fuel prices, which nonetheless represent a sizable headwind. These operational improvements have generated over $150 million in net income above earlier guidance for the full year.
