Jabil Inc. reported a robust first quarter for fiscal year 2026, outperforming expectations across various financial metrics, including revenue, core operating income, and earnings per share. The company generated $8.3 billion in net revenue, which was at the high end of guidance, demonstrating the strength and effectiveness of its diversified portfolio. Core operating income reached $454 million with a core operating margin of 5.5%, while GAAP diluted earnings per share was $1.35. Each of Jabil’s segments posted strong performances. The Regulated Industries segment, accounting for $3.1 billion in revenue, registered a year-over-year increase of 4%. This was largely supported by the steady performance of healthcare and automotive sectors, which helped boost the core operating margin by 110 basis points to 5.8%. Revenue from Intelligent Infrastructure outpaced expectations, driven by increased demand for cloud, data center infrastructure, and networking solutions, resulting in a segment margin of 5.2%, up 40 basis points.
