Ambev’s BEES Marketplace Surges 60% — Is Digital Becoming The Hidden Growth Engine?
Ambev’s second quarter 2026 results reflect a continuation of stable operational progress and financial discipline across its broad footprint. The company reported organic volume growth of 1.4% year-over-year, driven by mid-single digit beer volume increases. Net revenue grew 6%, supported by disciplined revenue management and a diverse portfolio that includes premium, balanced choices, no-alcohol beer, and flavored beer/RTDs. Normalized EBITDA expanded 9% with an expansion in margins by 80 basis points, despite stepped-up investments in brand activations notably related to the FIFA World Cup, a key event leveraged as a six-month campaign across multiple markets. Normalized earnings per share rose 24%, demonstrating strong profitability gain. Ambev’s growth strategy centers on three pillars: leading and growing the category, digitizing and monetizing its ecosystem, and optimizing business operations.
