Belden Incorporated reported its first quarter 2026 results with solid performance, recording revenue of $696 million, an 11% increase compared to the prior year, driven by 7% organic growth across all markets and major regions. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) also rose 11% year-over-year to $1.77, exceeding the high end of its guidance range. The Americas, particularly the U.S., showed strong demand with high single-digit growth. Segment-wise, automation grew modestly at mid-single digits with broad gains in discrete and energy verticals, smart buildings expanded at double digits due to increased solution adoption, and broadband demonstrated mid-single-digit growth despite seasonal pressures. Profitability improved, with adjusted EBITDA rising 14% to $118 million and adjusted EBITDA margin expanding 40 basis points to 17%, reflecting a shift towards solutions and operational leverage. Gross margins, excluding copper and tariff-related pass-through costs, were flat year-over-year.
