Intuit’s Pivotal Shift — 150,000 Accountants Join Its Expanding Ecosystem!
Intuit Inc. reported solid full-year fiscal 2026 results, with total revenue increasing 14% and both GAAP and non-GAAP diluted EPS rising 20%. Operating margins expanded, supported by its Big Bets in assisted tax, money, and mid-market, which collectively grew 34% and represented 30% of revenue. However, online paying customers increased only 3% year-over-year, reflecting slower-than-desired customer acquisition. Intuit plans greater investment in acquisition, product refinement, and market share growth in fiscal 2027. The company is building an AI-driven financial platform combining proprietary data and domain expertise to deliver automated, done-for-you experiences. Priorities include done-for-you services, money management, and mid-market expansion. Mid-market revenue grew 39%, while customer additions increased 28%, driven largely by upgrades and desktop migrations. New-to-franchise mid-market customers increased more than 30%, with growing traction in verticals such as construction. More than 150,000 accountants have engaged with Intuit’s Accountant Suite.
