Beta Technologies is a vertically integrated electric aviation company developing electric CTOL aircraft, VTOL powered-lift aircraft, propulsion systems, batteries, motors, flight controls, and charging infrastructure. Its model extends beyond aircraft manufacturing to include higher-margin recurring revenue from aftermarket components and charging services. The company is pursuing a stepwise FAA certification path while building a broader electric aviation ecosystem through its growing charging network. Operationally, Beta reported a deposit-backed commercial aircraft backlog of about $3.5 billion and a component backlog of roughly $1 billion, driven largely by a major Embraer Eve contract. This includes 891 deposit-backed orders, with additional discussions underway. Its commonality-based product strategy reuses components and certifications across platforms to simplify approval and production scaling. During the quarter, Beta achieved the first FAA “for credit” electric engine testing with the H500A, continued production and flight testing of the CX-300 Part 23 aircraft, advanced the ALIA A250 with a closed G1 certification basis, and expanded its charging network to locations including Abu Dhabi airport.
