Cheniere Energy: Will Its Highly Contracted Business Model Work In The Long Run?

Cheniere Energy, Inc. has reported substantial operational and financial attainments for Q4 and the entire year of 2023. The company produced a record 637 LNG cargoes, with a total production amounting to 45 million tons, in line with their forecast. This excellent performance was achieved even amid the challenges brought on by geopolitical conflicts and changes in regulations. The company managed to generate consolidated adjusted EBITDA of approximately $1.65 billion in Q4, leading to a full-year total of approximately $8.8 billion. The distributable cash flow for the whole year was also superior to their guidance range, amassing to approximately $6.5 billion.
