Commvault Systems, Inc. reported fiscal first quarter 2027 results reflecting growth across key operational and financial metrics. The company delivered subscription Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth of 22% to $1.05 billion, supported by a 38% increase in its SaaS ARR, which reached $424 million. SaaS revenue surpassed $100 million in the quarter, marking a significant milestone. Subscription revenue grew 16% to $267 million, comprising 85% of total revenue, while total revenues increased by 11% to $314 million. The company’s gross margin improved to 82.1%, including a SaaS margin of 70.6%, up 635 basis points from the prior year. Operating expenses increased modestly by 7% to $185 million but represented a reduced percentage of total revenue, resulting in non-GAAP EBIT growth to $71 million and margin expansion to 22.8%, the company’s highest in over a decade.
