Ondas’ Tenfold Revenue Surge Puts Counter-Drone Demand In Focus!
Ondas Inc. reported significant progress in the first quarter of 2026, underpinned by its Core + Strategic Growth strategy aimed at building a global multi-domain autonomous systems platform. The company generated $50.1 million in revenue, representing a tenfold year-over-year increase and 25% above the high end of its prior guidance. This quarterly revenue alone was approximately equal to that of the entire 2025 fiscal year, reflecting rapid scaling driven primarily by strong demand in counter-drone, defense-related markets, and contributions from acquisitions such as BIRD Aerosystems, World View, and Mistral. Notably, the company achieved product company level EBITDA profitability about two quarters ahead of plan. Gross margins improved to 49% from 35% a year earlier, reflecting favorable product mix and operational leverage. However, operating expenses increased to $67.3 million as Ondas invested heavily in personnel, infrastructure, and acquisitions to support its growth trajectory.
