Royal Gold Is Not Just A Gold Royalty Story Anymore — Here’s Why Silver Matters!
Royal Gold, Inc. reported a strong financial quarter in the first quarter of 2026, driven by the benefits of its expanded portfolio following acquisitions made in 2025. The company achieved record quarterly revenue of $469 million, representing a 143% increase compared to the same quarter last year. Operating cash flow rose to $294 million, a 115% increase, and net income reached $281 million, up 148%, with adjusted net income (excluding certain items) at a record $233 million or $2.72 per share, an 80% improvement. Gold remained the primary revenue source at 71%, though its proportion declined slightly due to exceptionally strong silver prices which contributed 16% of revenues, up from 12% previously. Copper sales accounted for around 10%. The adjusted EBITDA margin remained strong at 83%, reflecting Royal Gold’s stable and relatively low general and administrative expenses.
