Shift4 Payments, Inc. reported its second quarter of 2026 results with several notable strengths alongside some headwinds. The company demonstrated robust financial performance, exceeding its guidance across key metrics despite ongoing macroeconomic challenges and geopolitical disruptions, particularly those impacting international travel. In Q2 2026, Shift4 delivered a 34% year-over-year increase in gross revenue to $1.29 billion and a 51% increase in gross revenue less network fees (GRLNF) to $624 million, with 11% organic growth excluding acquisition contributions. Payment-based revenue less network fees grew 27% overall, including 19% growth in the mature Americas market and an impressive 53% growth internationally. Adjusted EBITDA rose 39% to $284 million, yielding a 46% margin, while adjusted free cash flow reached $21 million, surpassing the guided $10 million. Total payment processing volume increased 22% to $61 billion, maintaining a stable yield at 65 basis points.
