TTM Technologies Acquisition Of Epiq: Why This $1.1 Billion Deal Matters!
TTM Technologies has moved to deepen its aerospace and defense exposure through a planned $1.1 billion all-cash acquisition of Epiq Solutions, a provider of software-defined radios, high-performance RF products, digital signal processing technologies, and radiation-tolerant space computing systems. The deal, announced on August 17, 2026, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. Management says Epiq would add capabilities spanning communications, electronic warfare, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, missile defense, GPS, positioning, navigation and timing, and LEO space. TTM expects the transaction to be immediately accretive to adjusted EBITDA margin and accretive to non-GAAP diluted EPS in 2028. The acquisition also fits TTM’s broader strategy of moving “up the chain” from printed circuit boards and components toward higher-value modules, subsystems and integrated mission systems, while complementing its continued investments in AI-driven data-center networking and advanced interconnect capacity across multiple end markets globally.
