DXP Enterprises’ Latest Acquisition Adds A Powerful Western Canada Foothold!

DXP Enterprises has extended its acquisition-led growth strategy into Western Canada through the acquisition of Calgary-based Mequipco Ltd., adding another building block to its expanding DXP Water platform. The transaction, announced as completed on August 5, 2026 after a definitive agreement was signed on August 1, gives DXP an established Canadian supplier of mechanical equipment serving municipal and industrial water and wastewater systems. Founded in 1974, Mequipco brings more than five decades of operating history in a market that DXP has increasingly prioritized as part of its diversification away from heavier dependence on traditional energy end markets. The acquisition follows a period in which DXP Water had already been generating sustained sequential growth, while the broader Innovative Pumping Solutions segment reported strong expansion.
