SK Hynix: Initiation Of Coverage – A KRW 79.3 Trillion Record With HBM & AI Servers Reshape The Growth Story!

SK hynix reported record second-quarter 2026 results, supported by strong artificial intelligence infrastructure demand and tight memory supply. Consolidated revenue reached KRW 79.3 trillion, up 51% sequentially and 257% year-over-year. Growth reflected higher pricing across DRAM and NAND, particularly AI server DRAM and enterprise SSD products. DRAM bit shipments increased at a high single-digit rate, led by HBM3E and AI server products. Average selling prices rose approximately 30%, supported by continued strength in conventional DRAM pricing. NAND bit shipments increased by a mid-teen percentage, while enterprise SSD sales doubled sequentially. Solidigm generated more than three times the prior quarter’s revenue from high-capacity enterprise SSDs above 30 terabytes. NAND average selling prices increased by a mid-50% rate across the portfolio.
