AST SpaceMobile Goes All-In On Space-Based Cellular — 60+ Partners Are Already On Board!

AST SpaceMobile is advancing its efforts to establish the first global space-based cellular broadband network designed to operate directly with unmodified mobile phones. The company leverages a vertically integrated manufacturing approach, a comprehensive spectrum portfolio combining both partner-contributed and company-owned spectrum, and a large patent portfolio exceeding 3,900 patents and pending claims. Its technology targets integration with existing mobile network operators (MNOs), aiming to complement terrestrial networks rather than replace them, thereby facilitating seamless connectivity worldwide. During the second quarter of 2026, AST SpaceMobile reported revenue of $31.5 million, more than doubling its first quarter figures, driven by commercial gateway deliveries and U.S. government milestone achievements. The company reiterated its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $150 million to $200 million, with revenue growth expected to be sequential and weighted toward the fourth quarter.
