Vishay Intertechnology reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted revenues of $919 million, surpassing guidance and marking a 9.5% sequential and 20.5% year-over-year increase. Growth was broad-based, driven by increased demand across all product technologies, end markets, business channels, and regions. Key end markets such as industrial, which includes AI power and smart grid applications, accounted for over half of the revenue increase with 30.1% year-over-year growth, while automotive, aerospace and defense, healthcare, and other sectors including telecom and computing exhibited consistent revenue gains. The company’s hybrid business model, combining discrete semiconductors and passive components, continues to support customer needs for supply assurance amid stretching industry lead times and geopolitical uncertainties. Book-to-bill ratios remained robust at 1.32 overall, with record bookings in resistors and inductors contributing to a backlog of $1.9 billion, equivalent to 6.1 months of demand. Adjusted gross margin expanded to 22.
