Rubrik’s Hidden Growth Engine — $1 Million Customers Surge 57%!

Rubrik, Inc. reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 results showing continued growth in subscription ARR, subscription revenue, and customer scale. Subscription ARR reached $1.66 billion, up 33% year-over-year, while subscription revenue increased 37% to $407 million. Net new subscription ARR was approximately $96 million, and subscription net revenue retention remained above 119%. Customers generating at least $100,000 in subscription ARR increased 23% to 3,084, while customers contributing $1 million or more grew over 57%. Subscription ARR contribution margin improved 460 basis points to 14%. Free cash flow reached $66 million. Rubrik ended the quarter with $1.75 billion in cash and $1.13 billion of convertible debt. Rubrik continues positioning around AI-driven cybersecurity threats through its agentic cyber resilience platform, designed to address AI-enabled attacks and internal agentic risks. Its two primary product suites are Rubrik Security Cloud for cyber resilience and Rubrik Agent Cloud for agent security and governance.
