American Eagle Outfitters: Aerie’s 14% Customer Growth Is Just the Beginning—Here’s Why!
American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2025, reflecting progress after a challenging start to the year. The company achieved double-digit sales growth in the fourth quarter with total revenue rising 10% year-over-year to $1.8 billion, driven by an 8% increase in comparable sales. This was largely supported by a strong performance from the Aerie and OFFLINE brands, which posted 23% comparable sales growth. American Eagle itself showed modest comp growth of 2% with gains across genders and key categories such as tops and jeans. Operating margins improved, with adjusted operating income for the quarter increasing 27% to $180 million and an operating margin expansion to 10.2%. Full-year revenue reached a record $5.5 billion, up 3%, alongside adjusted operating income of $328 million.
