Generac Holdings, Inc. reported second quarter 2026 results showing an 11% increase in consolidated net sales to $1.17 billion compared to the prior year period. This growth was driven primarily by a 29% increase in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment, fueled by expanding revenue in the data center market, robust mobile product shipments, and steady international sales. The company recognized over $100 million in data center revenue during the quarter and secured two multiyear supply agreements with hyperscale customers, with a data center product backlog now at $1.6 billion. These contracts contribute to heightened visibility for future volume growth, particularly heading into 2027 and 2028. Generac continued to invest significantly in production and packaging capacity to support expected demand, including accelerating the start of operations at its Sussex, Wisconsin facility. The company outlined plans to potentially triple its large megawatt generator assembly and packaging capacity within 12 months.
